Reporting about 24 Hours Nürburgring’25, held on 19-22nd June 2025.
Our boss, William Chong participated in it again with Japanese Drivers, Mr. Ito who challenged together last year and a young driver Mr. Kohta Kawaai, and German driver Mr.Andreas who is a veteran driver at Nürburgring but also it’s his first time to participate in the 24h race.
ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レース 2025が6月19～22日にかけて開催され、2度目のチャレンジ、弊社ボス、ウィリアム・チョンも参戦してきました!
チームメイトは昨年共に戦った日本人ドライバーの伊藤毅選手、ニュル24時間初参戦の川合孝汰選手、同様に24時間初参戦だがニュルを走り慣れた現地ドライバー、アンドレアス選手だ。
Well, it was a nice weather compare with last year, but it was really hot, hot, hot till the sunset about 10pm!!!
Hot like Malaysia, rain like Malaysia…
We got 3rd place for the qualifying, however green hell is green hell as usual…
It’s not easy to complete the 24 Hours Nürburgring…
昨年とは打って変わり晴天に恵まれた予選&決勝。濃霧と寒さに悩まされた昨年だが、今年はマレーシアのような暑さが日暮れ午後10時頃まで続き、途中降った大雨はマレーシアのようなスコール。幸いレース中ではなかったものの、予想以上の暑さに一同驚きを隠せない。予選3位と順調な一歩を進めるも、グリーンヘルは甘くない。ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レースと言う特殊なレースに今回も完敗した…。

Race Day
Total 19 classes 136 cars participated in this race, however only 88 cars could finish the race, it can be said only 66% of the participants…
After 1hour and half race has been started, we’ve got a sudden red flag due to the blackout whole circuite even the pit and padock… It took 2 hours 15 minutes to fix it.
And also our team got a penalty due to the noise problem, and we need to stay in the pit for an hour…
136台19クラス中、完走したのは88台。クラッシュに次ぐクラッシュで完走率はわずか66%。
しかもスタートから一時間半が経過したころ、突然の赤旗。
前代未聞のサーキット、ピット、パドックが停電に⁉
復旧まで2時間15分を要した珍事発生。
その後、マフラー騒音のペナルティで1時間ピットに留まることに。かなりの痛手だが、夜はこれから。レース開始から半分も経っていない。挽回のチャンスがあるのも24時間レースならではと、落ち着いて過ごすベテラン勢。
Well this is common as Nurburgring 24h is famous with extreme hard conditions such as dark, rain, fog…
And this time we found another tough condition, it’s the sunlight that got drivers blinded.
They had a lot of serious crash everywhere during the sunrise… and it happened to us as well…
William was waiting for the #268 back, however the last lap before pit in, unfortunately, #268 was crashed…
It left 8 hours to go….
We hope that we’ll be back here again for the race！
ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久名物、闇の暗さ、雨、濃霧…。これらを昨年は十分に経験してきたのだが、今回新たな発見。
日の出の陽射しが一瞬にしてドライバーの目をくらませること。
この時点で多数の車両がクラッシュ、リタイアへと追い込まれた。
なんだかんだ好調に順位を上げ、現状クラス7位でドライバ―チェンジを目前としたラストラップ終盤、ウィリアム選手がピットで待機していたところ、#268のクラッシュがTV画面に映る。エンジンがかからずそのまま8時間を残しリタイアとなった。
ドライバーが軽傷でなによりだし、これもレース。
そしてみんなでゴール目指して楽しめたことがとてもいい経験。
チョンさん、またもや明るいニュルを走れず…だけど、またいつか、リベンジしなくちゃね！
急遽参戦だったけど、本当にいい経験ができました。チームメイト、メカニック、皆さんに大感謝なニュルでしか味わえない貴重なレースでした!
